Our Commitment
MADE Journal is dedicated to publishing work that is accurate, trustworthy, and respectful of the craft and culture we document. While we strive for precision in all our reporting and editorial output, we acknowledge that errors can occur. When they do, we address them transparently and promptly to maintain the confidence of our readers and contributors.
Corrections
If a factual error is identified in any MADE Journal article, we will correct it as quickly as possible. All corrections are clearly acknowledged—either at the beginning or end of the article—and include a brief note describing the nature of the update.
Corrections are applied only to substantive factual issues; minor adjustments for style, clarity, or grammar are made silently.
Updates and Evolving Stories
MADE Journal covers creative practices, evolving ideas, and cultural narratives that may develop over time. When new information emerges that materially affects an existing article, we will update the story accordingly.
Where appropriate, we may:
- Add update notes to articles with significant developments
- Link readers to new reporting or follow-up features
- Refresh existing context in evergreen pieces to ensure accuracy and relevance
Non-material updates—such as improving phrasing, tightening structure, or updating imagery—do not require a formal acknowledgement. Significant developments published within a week of an article’s release may warrant an editorial update note.
Submitting a Correction or Update Request
We value the vigilance and insight of our readers, contributors, and the communities we document. If you spot an error or wish to request an update, please contact us at:

Every message is reviewed by our editorial team, and we will respond promptly to address the issue with care and transparency.
